摘要:
基于圆管的自由翻转提出了新型的能量吸收装置,采用显式有限元技术对新型吸能装置在轴向压缩下的翻转进行数值模拟,并对其能量吸收特性进行研究。通过与传统圆管的对比分析,表明这种新型吸能装置总体吸能效率显著高于传统的普通圆管。这种新型吸能装置能克服传统圆管翻转的缺点,在不需要夹具的情况下能够保持较长的有效压缩距离,具有良好的能量吸收特性。
Abstract:
Based on the circular tube free rollover, a new type of energy-absorbing device was proposed. The inversion processes of the proposed tubes under axial compression had been simulated by using explicit finite element method and the energy absorption characteristics during the processes had also been investigated. The new proposed energy-absorbing device significantly had a higher energy-absorbing performance when compared with traditional circular tubes. Without the requirement of clamps, this device can hold a long effective crush distance and take an excellent energy-absorbing performance, which overcomes the drawbacks of traditional tubes.
